The applicant agreed to <br />reduce the size of the sign on Columbia Road once the models are completed. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant Rockwynd LLC of 4923 Columbia Road the request for variance <br />(1123.12), which consists of placing a small trailer at a development site, and an extension for <br />temporary sale signs (issued for 30 days), and that the following variances are granted as amended: <br />1. A special permit variance to permit a sales trailer for a 6- month period, (code does not permit), <br />applicant shows 1), section (1123.06). <br />2. A 12 month variance for display of temporary signs, with an option to extend the request an <br />additional 6-months. Upon the sale of the first unit the Colnmbia Road sign will be reduced in <br />size. (code permits 30 days, applicant shows 24 months), section (1163.33 (g)). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sechons, (1123.06) and (1163.33 (g)). N. Sergi seconded the <br />motion, wluch was unanimously approved. <br />5). V F W Post 7647; 30036 Lorain Road (PP# 233-11-002: (WRD3) <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of renovations of existing site & structure for a new <br />VFW Post. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />A special pernut to add to a non-conforming building (1165.02). <br />1. A variance for no loading or unloading area, (code requires one, applicant shows none), section <br />(1161.13 (d)). <br />2. A variance for no irrigation system, (code requires one, applicant shows none), section (1139.14). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections, (1165.02), (1161.13 (d)),and (1139.14). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Richie the Senior Vice <br />Commander of V.F.W came forward to be swom in and review the request. The applicant reviewed that <br />the new location for the post has a larger parking lot and the deliveries are only twice a week. The <br />applicants have a maintenance team which will maintain the inside and outside of the building & grounds. <br />Board members reviewed Planning Commissions recommendations for approval. The V.F.W. Posts intent <br />is to expand and re sod the site at a later date. <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant V.F.W. Post 7647 of 30036 Lorain Road the request for variance <br />(1123.12), which consists of renovations of exishng site & structure for a new VFW Post and that <br />the following variances are granted as amended: <br />A special permit to add to a non-conforming building (1165.02). <br />1. A variance for no loading or unloading area, (code requires one, applicant shows none), section <br />(1161.13 (d)). <br />2. A variance for no irrigation system, (code requires one, applicant shows none), section <br />(1139.14). With the condition, that the irrigation system will be installed to code once the lawn <br />is replaced. <br />Wluch is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections, (1165.02), (1161.13 (d)), and (1139.14). N. Sergi <br />seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. <br />6). Diwldn Donuts/ Baskin Robbins; (PP# 237-09-005) Clauge Road: (WRD 2) <br />A. Request an appeal of the Building Comxnissioner's deternunation that the proposed Dunkin <br />DonutsBaskinRobbins is a restaurant, section (1123.07). <br />B. Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a NEW DEVELOPMENT. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A.4286 acre variance for lot size (code requires 1.5 acre, applicant shows 1.0714 acre). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1161.12 (e)). <br />C. Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of WALL & GROUND SIGNS. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A variance for additional ground signs (code permits l, applicant shows 2), section (1163.26 (a)). <br />See note #1 <br />2. A variance for additional wall sign (code pernuts 1, applicant shows 2), section (1163.27 (a)). <br />3
