Back in February, the provider opted out of its contract with its 30-
day notice provision. The City did have a company called Coverall filling in from the end of March
th
until the 19 of April, at which point in time Kindness Cleaning will take over the cleaning here at the
North Olmsted Rec Center. References were checked out and she has experience in the area. She is
moving her business to North Olmsted as her hub because they do a lot of work this way. The City is
excited to be having her come in North Olmsted. Her price was actually right in line with what we
were paying to Janko, even though Janko was complaining that we were too low. The price is right in
line with what we were doing, but we are adding back into this program is outside maintenance of the
parks’ bathrooms, both Barton/Bradley and North Olmsted Parks. So, they will be cleaning those this
year as well.

Lawsuit with Pro Shop

There will be a lawsuit pending shortly with the Pro Shop. The City has given them time to pay it’s
bill. They have paid us for a while and have stopped again. The Rec currently has its skate sharpener
Page 4
