(400 sq. ft.) attached garage. Proposed detached <br />garage is 30 ft. x 40 ft. (1,200 sq. ft.) Lot size is 1.079 acre (47,000 sq. ft.) <br />The applicant is proposing to construct a 1,200 square foot new detached garage. There is an <br />existing attached garage on the property. The total area of the garages will be 1,600 square feet, <br />where 750 is permitted; a variance for 850 square feet is requested. Mr. Brady is proposing to <br />build a 30 by 40 -foot outbuilding to store his equipment and personal truck. Ms. Lieber thought <br />the request was substantial, especially since the proposed garage alone exceeds the permitted <br />building size. Mr. Brady added that he has an old truck and tractor he would like to store inside. <br />Ms. Patton was concerned about the large variance request and thought the need for storage <br />could be addressed in other ways.
