Mr. Marco let iu stated that it is loo small to store all of his <br />landscaping equipment <br />The board discussed the shipping container and how it is large for the property as well as how it is <br />not visible from the street. Ms. Seeley explained that this request of a shipping container is <br />something that the building Department usually does not allow. T here was a discussion on how <br />this variance request was brought up to the board since the shipping container has been located on <br />the property since 2017. It was stated that the building department was hollowing up on a <br />complaint regarding the container, and the homeowner was un -aware that he needed a variance to <br />host the shipping container. Ms. Patton expressed concerns regarding, the size, the additional shed <br />on the property as well as how this could affect future neighbors and variance requests. <br />Mr. Gareau advised the Board that a shipping container is a prohibited use under section <br />1135.02(K) and whether one is looking at the size of the property or how the container is not <br />visible from the street, ultimately a shipping container is prohibited. <br />Mr. Rahm moved, seconded by Ms. Patton, to approve the following variance for 22-21554; <br />Mirel and Mina Marculetiu; 23276 Mastick Rd. <br />A variance for shipping container to he used for storage: code does not permit, applicant shows shipping <br />container being used for storage, Section 1135.02(K) <br />Motion Denied 2-1. <br />22-21.509; Ramzi Jammal; 5261 Berkshire Dr. <br />Proposal consists of a home on a corner lot. The front of <br />the house will be facing Berkshire which is the narrowest part of the property therefore the <br />applicant is requesting a 5 lcet 6 -inch variance Ilam the required 25 feet side yard setback. <br />Ms. Seeley stated that the building department does not have an_v concerns with the variance <br />request Ms. Patton also expressed that the lot is very unique. <br />Mr. North Marek a resident at 5233 Berkshire staled that the previous house that was on the lot <br />was terrible and is in favor of this project in which it will enhance the neiehborhood.
