Dr. Borodkin: <br />I believe that may be in the civil service packet.. Very briefly, we meet with the city to have a <br />discussion of what we would call success criteria. After that is done, candidates take an online <br />assessment battery, including a questionnaire that we've referenced, a critical thinking test, a <br />personality index, a group view leadership 2 assessment. <br />The assessor then reviews all of that information, and after that, there is a two-part interview, <br />structured interview questions, then follow-ups on either scores or things the person wrote in the <br />survey, and then after the interview component, the candidate receives feedback on their quick view <br />leadership scores. Not numbers, but what did they emphasize, least emphasize, etc. After that is <br />done, the reports are written. <br />Captain Angel Walling: <br />Thank you. <br />Dr. Borodkin: <br />Yes. <br />Captain Angel Walling: <br />About how many questions, I know there are different parts to there, but for example, how many <br />questions in each section? It's pretty extensive, is my point for this. <br />Dr. Borodkin: <br />Yeah. I mean, like I said, in the questionnaire itself, there's probably 50 to 55 sense completion <br />items. There are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 short answer questions. <br />There is a life and work grading exercise with approximately 14 ones to choose from. There's <br />another probably that goes through the various job history components. And then the quick view <br />leadership probably has, I think, 140 or 180 pairs of items. <br />Plus the personality index would have approximately under 60 questions. And critical thinking test <br />has 40 questions. <br />Captain Angel Walling: <br />Thank you, sir. So, out of all of that, 140 pairs of items that you're questioning, 50 to 55 sentence <br />completions. <br />How is it possible to take those exact answers again? If somebody takes a test in 2023 and they take <br />the test again in 2024, is it even possible to have the exact same answers for all of that test? <br />Dr. Borodkin: <br />No. And in fact, the scores, the actual results from the quick view leadership assessment and the <br />critical thinking test would show that they could not be the same answers because different scores <br />arose. <br />Jennifer Davenport: <br />Thank you. <br />Dr. Borodkin: <br />Yes. <br />Lieutenant Barrett: <br />Madam Chair, may I ask a follow-up question? <br />
