Do you know which questions were different from 1 and 2?
Dr. Borodkin:
r. A large number, even a critical thinking test, you scored 30 percentile points lower this time than
you did last time.
Lieutenant Barrett:
But you don't use those numbers, correct? The critical thinking, the Watson -Glaser test, right? You
don't use that to evaluate anything, right?
Dr. Borodkin:
Along with the other data points, we do. We do not base any final rating or score on any one test
score.
Lieutenant Barrett:
So that's irrelevant, right? It doesn't matter. If you're not using it, you just look at it.
Dr. Borodkin:
I didn't say we didn't use it. I said we factored that in with other behaviors and other scores.
Lieutenant Barrett:
Okay.
According to the questions I took, the test I took versus the last test, the questions were the same.
Dr. Borodkin:
The interview questions were different.
Lieutenant Barrett:
Interview, of course interview. I'm talking written questions, right?
Dr. Borodkin:
The written questions, yes, they would have been the same.
Lieutenant Barrett:
They would have been the same. So how can you count for a 14, 16 point difference if the written
questions are the same and you answer them the same? How can we have such a big difference in
points?
I could understand a couple points, four points here or there, right? But 16 is a big margin between
the two. And doctor, and I loved your advice, thank you.
It made me take a step back and look at myself. And my last assessment with Ruth, I did a self-
assessment, self -aware. And I even told her I was going to keep a journal, which I do, of incidents
that happened.
And I put in red, red markings of where I need to improve and what I did wrong and how to
improve those. Now I listed in this test, just like I did the last one, of being critical, direct, and
impatient. Just like I did the last test.
And again, I don't understand, and this is my contention. Again, nothing to do with getting along. Is
how do we have such a big 16 -point difference?
Dr. Borodkin:
If I had just a fair question, I would just like to agree.
