<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION L• That Section 1115.06 of Chapter 1115 (Definitions) of the Zoning Code, <br />which presently reads as follows: <br />1115.06 DWELLINGS AND OTHER LIVING ACCOMMODATIONS. <br />As used in this Zoning Code: <br />(a) "Apartment" means a multi-family building comprised of three or more <br />dwelling units, separated from each other by fireproof walls, floors <br />and/or ceilings, of concrete, masonry or the equivalent, arranged one <br />above the other and/or side by side, each unit having at least one <br />entrance connected to a common interior hall leading to the exterior. <br />(b) "Condominium housing" means a form of housing ownership by which <br />a person may purchase and own a dwelling unit in a multi-unit building <br />or development and a proportionate interest, together with other <br />condominium owners, in the land and other elements of the <br />development. <br />(c) "Congregate housing" means a residential development designed to <br />accommodate individuals, most often elderly, who are unable or do not <br />wish to provide living arrangements for themselves. Services most <br />commonly associated with congregate housing include food <br />preparation, dining and housekeeping but may also include medical, <br />social and recreational services. <br />(d) "Dwelling" means a building designed and occupied exclusively for <br />residential purposes. An attached garage shall be considered a part of <br />a dwelling. <br />(e) "Dwelling unit" means space, comprised of living, dining and sleeping <br />rooms, storage closets and the space and equipment for cooking, <br />bathing and toilet facilities, all used by one family. "Dwelling unit" <br />does not include a tent, cabin, trailer or mobile home. <br />(f) "Elderly housing" means a residential structure designed specifically to <br />provide for the special housing needs of elderly persons, including any <br />and all special safety and convenience features as required in buildings <br />qualifying for governmental housing assistance for the elderly. <br />(g) "Group home" means a residential facility designed to accommodate a <br />group of individuals, usually physically impaired or with emotional or <br />social problems, living as a family unit in a noninstitutional, <br />neighborhood setting. <br />(h) "Hotel apartment" means a hotel in which a substantial number of the <br />occupants use their rooms more or less permanently as a residence. <br />(i) "Hotel-motel° means a building containing rooms for the temporary <br />accommodation of transients which may provide a variety of rooms for <br />dining, entertainment, exhibitions and convention or sales activities as <br />well as personal services for guests. <br />(j) "Mobile home" means a self-propelled ar nonself-propelled vehicle <br />designed in a manner to <br />permit the use and occupancy thereof for human habitation, whether or <br />not resting on wheels, <br />jacks or other foundations. <br />(k) "Mobile home park" means any tract of land upon which one or more <br />mobile homes are occupied either free of charge or for revenue <br />
