Rick Jesse, Safety Director City of North Olmstead 5200 Dover Gentex Road North Olmstead, Ohio 44070 RE: SECgJRiTY PACKAGE COM}VIUNITY CENTER Dear Rick, After a review af the operation ana inspection of the Community Center, and discussions with you in regaxds to the City's intentions, it would be my thoughts that there are several areas of th-, operation that need attention to accomplish the goals af th-- City. On initial review, I believe that there needs tQ be an overaIl security system implemented. to inelude a,r, approgriate operatioiial plan. This cauld include, but not be limited to, a card access program that would not only monitor access to the facili#.y, but con#roI access` to the various areas, installation of a security operation that would require video cameras, a contract guard service, and a review of the pricing structure for use of tlie facility. As I indicated these suggestions are the resutt of an initiat inspection of the facility and a brief rneeting with you and the administrator of the center. I would suggest that a iurther review be undertaken in which I would have specialists, availabie to me, inspect the faeility. After that is dane and further discussions with you and i:he appropriaie individuals, I would prepare a package that would be the? bid specifieations for the City to implement such a pian. 'I'he cost for this would be $2000.00. Should you desir.e further assistance, I would be willing to discuss the possibility of administrating tlie pian, from bid to operation.
