c . ?? • <br />EXHIBIT B-18 CONTINUED <br />EXAMTLES OF WORK CONTINUED <br />Occasionally operates light automotive equipment such as trucks, front-end loaders and <br />tractors. <br />Does limited skilled work with latfies, drill presses, and other precision machining <br />devices, and does incidental carpentry, painting, masonry and cement work. <br />Performs related work as required. <br />KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY AND SKILL <br />Has knowledge of standard practices, methods, tools and materials of the mechanical <br />trades. <br />Has knowledge of inechanical principles and of equipment and machinery used in <br />pumping and treatment of wastewater. <br />Has knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work. <br />Has knowledge of the general methods and related electrical, carpentry and plumbing <br />repairs and skill in making general rnaintenance repairs. <br />Has the ability to perform skilled mechanica] tasks of a routine nature with considerable <br />independence. <br />Has the ability to estabiish and maintain effective working relationships with employees <br />and general public. <br />Has the ability to work from sketches and blueprints and to understand and effectively <br />carry out oral and written instructions. <br />Have skill in the use of bench and hand tools, machines, and equipment of inechanical <br />trades. <br />Has mechanical aptitude and good general intelligence. <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAIIVING <br />Experience in mechanical repair work with machinery, equipment a.nd apparatus related <br />to the area of assignment and graduation from a standard high school or vocational school, <br />including or supplemented by approved course work in shop practices or one of the mechanical <br />trades. <br />Employees must have general certification in welding procedures and shall be required <br />to maintain a valid commercial driver's license. <br />so <br />- «? ? ?
