City of North Olmsted, N? / xxx xxxx 22 <br />for every printer, terminal and personal computer that is part of the system <br />purchased by CITY from VENDOR to successfully operate. <br />b. An Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) will provide for a twenty minute <br />orderly shutdown of the system. A"cold start" of the system will be <br />performed by the CITY to again operate the system by disconnecting the <br />power source to simulate a power failure. <br />c. Each tape drive must successfully demonstrate the ability to back up and <br />restore two word processing documents. <br />d. Each modem must successfully demonstrate the ability to transmit via a <br />modem to another location text based document, which will be edited and re- <br />transmitted via modem to CITY and restored on CITY hard drive. <br />e. The LAN successfully demonstrates the ability to perform console <br />operations, including but not limited to: <br />(i) Creating system users and modifying their trustee rights; <br />(ii) Looking up system statistics and broadcasting a message onto the <br />system. <br />(iii)Deleting a spooled file from a printing queue. <br />f. POS hardware and peripheral acceptance ill be conferred based upon the <br />successful completion to CITY's satisfaction of an operation which consists of <br />the entry of one customer account retrieved by scanning of a bar coded <br />invoice, and payment of the invoice that generates a printed receipt. <br />2. Software Acceptance will be conferred on the basis of individual <br />application and when mutually agreed to, on a partial application basis, as <br />outlined in Software Implementation payment, exhibit herein. Report generator, <br />word processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, etc. are <br />examples of what constitutes individual applications. The acceptance of the <br />functionality of the software will be conferred in accordance with its ability to <br />complete successfully the requirements set forth in the complete RFP, <br />Replacement Pages, and any Addenda thereto, as modified by VENDOR's <br />proposal.acceptance test, the brochures, and the documentation. <br />Application software modules as specified in Exhibit herein will be <br />installed on the computer hardware per the schedule contained in Exhibit <br />herein. These application software modules will be scheduled for training <br />in a timetable included in Exhibit herein and/or as modified in writing <br />with the mutual agreement of both parties, and accepted by CITY when <br />CITY employees are trained in that application and the application <br />performs in conformance with CITY's specifications as modified by <br />Prepared by Barry Strock Consulting Associates, Inc.
