Employees particzpating and subscribing to the optional health benefits listed above within this <br />section, sha.Il contribute an amount equal to that which is listed within Section 12.2 of this Article. <br />Employees must participate in the rnedical plan to be permitted to participate within the optiona.l <br />benefit coverage Iisted within this section. The emgloyee contribution shall be withheld as a <br />payroll deduction not later than the f?rst pay period of each month. <br />12.4 Expected cost or premium is defined as the cost of all medical, hospital, <br />prescription drug, and related fees including, but not limited to administrative fees. <br />12.5 The employer reserves the right to establish all plans, enrollment periods and <br />regulations. <br />12.6 The employer shall make an earnest effort to establish a committee consisting of <br />one (1) representative from each of the city bargaining units, if they choose to be represented and <br />a minimum of one (1) representative of the employer. The bargaining i.uzit's role as a participant in <br />the aforementioned committee shall be advisory only. <br />12.7 AIl changes affecting the plan coverage's co-payments, deductibles, providers, <br />enrollment periods and reguiations wiil be shared with the bargaining unit prior to making such <br />changes. <br />It is further agreed that if any bargaining unit employed by the City of North Olmsted, m <br />negotiations held subsequent to this Agreement and for the same time period covered under this <br />Agreement, negotia.tes to conclusion a lower percentage of employee contribution to the Health <br />Insurance Plan, that Iower percentage shall apply to the units covered under this Agreement. Said <br />lower percentage Shail commence under this Agreement at the time that it is agreed upon by <br />another unit, and shall continue for the remaining years covered under this Agreement. <br />20
