LETTER OF UNIIERSTANIIING <br />In the event there is created a work day in excess of eight (8) hours by the Employer, then in the <br />event the work day shall be expressed in terms of hours and all rights, duties and privileges expressed in <br />this agreement shall be converted from days to hours. As an example, overtime shall be based on haurs <br />worked over the newly scheduled "work day". In no event shall management's right to schedule hours <br />of work be affected by changing the work day in excess of eight (8) hours. It is expressly agreed and <br />understood that the creation of a work day in excess of eight (8) hours shall not increase any benefit <br />regarding compensation, vacation, time off or any other benefit of employment.
