<br />Ordinance No. 2004-66 <br />A building occupied by one use shall provide the offstreet parking spaces as <br />required for the specific use. A building, or group of buildings, occupied by two or more <br />uses, operating normally during the same hours, shall provide spaces for not less than the <br />sum of spaces required for each use, provided, however, if a business development is <br />comprised of 12,000 square feet or more of building area, the required spaces may be <br />computed for the total area of building, or buildings, as set forth in subsection (w) hereof <br />instead of computed as separate uses. <br />Building o r Use Required Minimum Parking <br /> Snace <br /> Residential <br />(a) One and two-family dwelling 2 per dwelling unit <br />(b) Multifamily dwellings other than <br /> those multifamily dwellings <br /> exclusively for the elderly, <br /> according to the following schedule: <br /> Efficiency and one bedroom <br /> units 1-1 /2 per unit <br /> Two bedroom units 1-3I4 per unit <br /> Three bedroom units 2-1/2 per unit <br />(c) Multifamily dwellings 1 per unit, regardless of <br /> exclusively for the elderly size of unit and 1 for each <br /> employee <br />(d) Hotels-motels 1 per guest room <br /> Restaurant 10 per 1,000 square feet <br /> of floor area <br /> Meeting/banquet rooms 20 per 1,000 square feet <br /> of floor area <br /> Institutions <br />(e) Hospitals 1 per 2 beds plus space for <br /> each 3 employees plus 7 <br /> for each doctar who has <br /> staff privileges <br />(f) Clinics 6.5 per 1,000 square feet <br /> of floor area <br />(g) Place of worship 1 per each 2.5 seats in the <br /> auditorium or the <br /> assembly room, <br /> whichever is larger. <br />(h) Public buildings, 1 per each full-time <br /> municipal, education, employee plus 1 for each <br /> libraries, museums 3 seats in each assembly <br /> room. <br />(i) Theatre 0.5 per seat <br /> Amusements and Assemblv <br />(j) Lodge halls, 1 per 2.5 seats in the <br /> auditoriums, arenas, building or structure. <br /> stadia and other places <br /> of assembly <br />(k) Dance halls, skating rinks, 20 per 1,000 square feet of <br /> swimming pools, fitness area used for dancing, <br /> club skating or swimming and <br /> fitness activities <br /> (lounging and spectator <br /> area included) <br />2 <br />
