Ordinance No. 2004-66 A building occupied by one use shall provide the offstreet parking spaces as required for the specific use. A building, or group of buildings, occupied by two or more uses, operating normally during the same hours, shall provide spaces for not less than the sum of spaces required for each use, provided, however, if a business development is comprised of 12,000 square feet or more of building area, the required spaces may be computed for the total area of building, or buildings, as set forth in subsection (w) hereof instead of computed as separate uses. Building o r Use Required Minimum Parking Snace Residential (a) One and two-family dwelling 2 per dwelling unit (b) Multifamily dwellings other than those multifamily dwellings exclusively for the elderly, according to the following schedule: Efficiency and one bedroom units 1-1 /2 per unit Two bedroom units 1-3I4 per unit Three bedroom units 2-1/2 per unit (c) Multifamily dwellings 1 per unit, regardless of exclusively for the elderly size of unit and 1 for each employee (d) Hotels-motels 1 per guest room Restaurant 10 per 1,000 square feet of floor area Meeting/banquet rooms 20 per 1,000 square feet of floor area Institutions (e) Hospitals 1 per 2 beds plus space for each 3 employees plus 7 for each doctar who has staff privileges (f) Clinics 6.5 per 1,000 square feet of floor area (g) Place of worship 1 per each 2.5 seats in the auditorium or the assembly room, whichever is larger. (h) Public buildings, 1 per each full-time municipal, education, employee plus 1 for each libraries, museums 3 seats in each assembly room. (i) Theatre 0.5 per seat Amusements and Assemblv (j) Lodge halls, 1 per 2.5 seats in the auditoriums, arenas, building or structure. stadia and other places of assembly (k) Dance halls, skating rinks, 20 per 1,000 square feet of swimming pools, fitness area used for dancing, club skating or swimming and fitness activities (lounging and spectator area included) 2
