<br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2002-101 <br />Page 2 <br />Director may require, and recent areas where the traveling public show or carnival has <br />operated and a list of the next three places of operation the traveling public show or <br />carnival will be performing after leaving the City; and <br />(b) Deposited, to protect the City from any and all lawsuits filed against it, a <br />policy or policies of liability or indemnity insurance issued by a company licensed to do <br />business within the State of Ohio, recognizing the City as an additional insured, in a total <br />amount of not less than one hundred thousand dollars/three hundred thousand dollars <br />($100,000 /$300,000) for any personal injury and one hundred thousand dollars <br />($100,000) property damage caused as a result or consequence of the traveling public <br />show or carnival having appeared within the City. <br />(c) The sponsoring organization shall arrange for traveling public show or <br />carnival employees to have living quarters outside of any public park area or other public <br />places, so that the Safety Director can be assured that no traveling public show or <br />carnival employee will be living in trailers or any other type of living quarters within the <br />traveling public show or carnival area, public parks or any other public places, except that <br />employees who are responsible for the safety and/or security of equipment or the grounds <br />may utilize on-premises camper living quarters, upon securing the prior written approval <br />of the Safety Director. In addition, no pets belonging to employees of the traveling public <br />show or carnival will be permitted within the public areas, except such animals as might <br />be an integral part of the traveling public show or carnival." <br />Be amended, and, as amended, shall read as follows: <br />"701.02 PERMIT ISSUANCE. <br />No permit shall be issued until the applicant has: <br />(a) Made the deposit and completed the application for the permit referred to in <br />Section 701.01. The permit shall state the exact time when the traveling public show or <br />carnival will remain in the City, a cvmplete list of all traveling public show or carnival <br />employees, their home addresses, next of kin, and such further information as the Safety <br />Director may require, and recent areas where the traveling public show or carnival has <br />operated and a list of the next three places of operation the traveling public show or <br />carnival will be performing after leaving the City; and <br />(b) Deposited, to protect the City from any and all lawsuits filed against it, a <br />policy or policies of liability or indemnity insurance issued by a company licensed to do <br />business within the State of Ohio, recognizing the City as an additional insured, in a total <br />amount of not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) for any personal injury and <br />one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) property damage caused as a result or <br />consequence of the traveling public show or carnival having appeazed within the City. <br />(c) The sponsoring organization shall arrange for traveling public show or <br />carnival employees to have living quarters outside of any public park area or other public <br />places, so that the Safety Director can be assured that no traveling public show or <br />carnival employee will be living in trailers or any other type of living quarters within the <br />traveling public show or carnival area, public parks or any other public places, except that <br />employees who are responsible for the safety and/or security of equipment or the grounds <br />may utilize on-premises camper living quarters, upon securing the prior written approval <br />
