dllties, then the Employer may ter?ilinate payments and insist that the employee go on a pension <br />progralri. <br />Any employee that qLialifies for the benefits under this SecCion shall not have his <br />accumlilated sick time reduced because of a qualifed ilhless wllich occurred while in the line of <br />dutv. <br />26.04 In the event that an employee has been injured or exposed to a toxic substance or to an <br />infectious disease in the course or scope of his employment and is sent to the hospital for testing, <br />treatnlent and/or preventatlve measures, and Workers' Compensatioll subsequently determines <br />that there is no injury sustained, al] bills pertaining to the employee's testilig, treatnlent and/or <br />preventative measures shall be the responsibility of the City of North Olmsted. <br />ARTICLE XXVII PtJBLIC RECORDS REQUEST <br />27.01 lf the Einployer receives a public records request for the inspectioi7 of any discloseable <br />information about an employee contained witliin files kept by the Employer, the employee <br />involved shall be notified as soon as practical. <br />27.02 The Employer shatl provide the einployee with an acczirate summary or copies of the <br />information about tlle employee that will be released. <br />27.03 The employee shall have the right to file an objection to the release of any of the <br />information covered by the public records request and be present at the time of'inspection or <br />release. <br />ARTICLE XXVIII PERSONNEL FILES <br />28.01 Every employee shall be allowed to review the contents of his personrzel file at all <br />reasonable times upon written request or verbal request excepi that any bargaining unit member <br />involved in a grievance or disciplinary matter shall access at any reasonable time in order to <br />adequately prepare for such process. The employee may add memoranda elarifying and <br />eaplainulg alleged inaccuracies of any documents in said fi1e. <br />ARTICLE XXIX FIREARMS PROFICIENCY BENEFIT <br />29.01 Enzployees who have eaceeded the State minimuun firearnls profciency shall receive a <br />one thousand four hundred ($1,400.00) dollar- per year proficiency bonus. <br />ARTICLE XXX MILITARY LEAVE BENEFITS <br />30.01 Employees who are permanent public einployees of the City, as defined in Section <br />5903.01 of'the Revised Code, aild inembers of the Ohio organized militia, or inembers of other <br />reserve components of the armed forces of the United States, including the Ohlo National Gtiard, <br />are entitled to Ieave of absence from their respective Eniployer positiotls without loss ol'pay or <br />benefits for the tinie they are perfonning service in the uniformed selvices because of an <br />-, p
