The work for this 0.6 mile section included complete removal of the 2-lane <br />road, replacement with a 4-lane reinforced concrete pavement with left turning lanes <br />and a 30-foot median, construction of new storm sewers, sanitary sewer, waterline <br />relocation, pavement marking, signing, right-of-way and maintenance of traffic. <br />Extensive coordination was performed to match work on adjoining projects and with <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />private utility owners. <br />• Project Manager: Interstate Route 480, Landscape and Slope Erosion Control. The <br />17 mile section included design for slope restoration, slope stabilization, landscaping <br />and screening along the highway, interchanges, ramps and intersections. <br />Responsibilities included project management, coordination with various sub- <br />consultants and technical assistance to project assigned staff. <br />• Project Manager: GEA-322/306-0.59/11.89, Highway Improvements to U.S. Route <br />322, Geauga County. The work includes the improvement of a 2.5 mile section of <br />U.S. Route 322 from 2 lanes to 4lanes and S lanes, and 0.52 mile of State Route 306 <br />to 5 lanes. The preliminary phase consisted of environmental studies (cultural <br />resources, wetlands and ecological surveys, inventory of hazardous materials, noise <br />analysis) and engineering design for the establishment of horizontal and vertical <br />alignment, relocation of Caves Road, pavement design and typical sections. The Line, <br />Grade and Typical Section Submission and the Preliminary Right-of-Way Plans were <br />submitted and approved. <br />• Project Manager: STA-687-3.45, Widening and Reconstruction of 1.4 mile section <br />of Fulton Road (SR687) in Stark County from two and three lanes to five lanes, for <br />the Ohio Department of Transportation District Four. Work included the preparation <br />of an environmental document covering cultural resources, hazardous materials, noise, <br />air quality, social and economic factors, and land use. The roadway scope included <br />alignment studies, profiles, drainage, utilities, right-of-way needs and cost estimates. <br />Project Manager: Various bridge replacexnent projects for the Ohio Department of <br />Transportation in Districts One, Two, Three, Four, Seven, Nine, Ten and Twelve. <br />Work has included a variety of bridge types, with dif£erent needs regarding roadway <br />design for establishment of horizontal and vertical clearances. Drainage designs have <br />included open and closed systems, and several have required special designs for <br />pavement, maintenance of traffic, and superelevation.
