Three hard copies of a11 report drawings, design drawings and design details sha11 be submitted to the City along with a diskette or diskettes, if necessary, containing a file for each report drawing, design drawing and design detail prepared during the project. Initial Professional Services An hydraulic analysis shall be completed during the initial services. This analysis sha11 analyze each phase of the expected modifications needed to the existing Thermal Condition- ing Sludge Feed Pumps and the sludge feed piping in order to convert this equipment to the Dewatering Centrifuge Feed Purnps and the sludge feed piping. Also, the hydraulic analysis sha11 also analyze the modifications to the existing vacuum filter feed pumps presently anticipated by the City for converting those pumps to the DeNvatering Centrifuge Sludge Feed Pumps after completion af the project. The City is presently investigating the technical requirements for these modifications with the manufacturer of the existing vacuum filter feed pumps. The results of this investigation will be provided to the selected proposer when the investigation is compieted. Using the Preliminary SLB Layout, the hydraulic analyses shall be based on the head re- quirements of the three dewatering centrifuges under consideration by the City. Attachment 5 to this request identifies the head requirement for the three complete dewatering centrifv.ge systems under consideration by the City at the present time. The initial services shall also include preparation of Yard Piping and Tunnel A base maps followed by preparation of drawings for each of the sludge feed piping phase. By preparing a separate drawing for each sludge feed piping phase at this time, the City will be able to begin constructing the initial piping phase during the dewateri.ng centrifuge piTot testing period. The first sludge feed piping phase to be constructed in 2000. The first sludge feed piping phase is presently expected to be as follows: Installation of a partially complete 6" ? DI Centrate Line: a) Remove the existing 3" ? CPVC/SS Carbon Slurry Waste Group "C" line between the Secondary Retum Well and the 90° elbow in the yard south of Low Pressure Oxidation No. 2 Building (LP2) and the Administration Building (ADM); b) Core drill a 8" ? hole into the Secondary Retu.rn Well on the centerline of the abandoned 3" ? CPVC/SS Carbon Sluny Waste Group "C" line; c) Install a buried, double link sealed 6" ? DI Centrate Line stub into the core drilled hole-.
