The work inside the SLB is presently expected to be as follows: Installation of a cast-in-place polymer storage tanks pad northeast corner of the SLB area for the placement of up to two polymer storage tanks (One tank would be purchased and installed in 2000. The need for a second tank to be purchased in 2001 would be based on an operability and c.ost analysis to be completed after the complete dewaiering centrifuge system has been completed and in operation for three months.) 2. Installation of a cast-in-place dewatering centrifuge for the placement of the East Dewatering Centrifuge and a11 piping a.nd conduiting on the pad required by the dewatering centrifuge. 3. Installation of a cast-in-place sludge cake pump pad for the placement of the sludge cake pump that would serve the East Dewatering Centrifuge and a future West Dewatering Centrifuge and a11 piping and conduiting on the pad required by the sludge cake pump. 4. Installation of sludge cake piping between the sludge cake pump discharge port and the existing sludge hopper horizontal conveyor. 5. Extension of the first phase yard piping through core drilled, steel sleeved, double link sealed penetrations in the east wall of the SLB to the cQmplete dewatering centrifuge system: a) These extensions are to be floor mounted and include the following piping: i) the 6" ? DI Centrate Line; and ii) the two 2" ? DI Dewatering Centrifuge Sludge Feed Lines with each line includi.ng two isolation plug valves surrounding one magnetic flow meter (to be separately procured by the City). 6. Extension of the second phase 2" ? PVC Centrifuge Feed Pumps Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Conduit yard piping through core drilled, steel sleeved, double link sealed penetrations in the east wall of the SLB to the complete dewatering centrifuge system I&C equipment to be mounted on the east wall of the SLB. 7. Instailatian of the following floor mounted electrical distribution system and I&C conduits fram the electrical and I&C equipment mouuted on the east wall of the SLB to the complete dewatering centrifuge system: a) a 2" ? PVC coated steel primary electric service conduit to the dewatering centrifuge; b) a 1" ? PVC coated steel primary electric service conduit to the sludge cake pump;
