<br />Mr. Foster McMasters <br />Metca{f & Eddy of Ohio, Inc. <br />May 16, 2000 <br />Page 13 of 14 <br />After ranki.ng a11 technical proposals from most qualified to least qualified as detennined by <br />the City's review of the received technical proposals, the City will enter into negotiations <br />with the professional that submitted the highest ranked technical proposal using its submitted <br />Cost Proposal. If the City is unable to negotiate a Professional Services contract with the <br />professional that submitted the highest ranked technical proposal, the City will begin nego- <br />tiations with the professional that submitted the highest ranked technical proposal. This <br />procedure will be used until the City can complete cost negotiations and enter into a <br />Professional Services contract. <br />The five (5) copies of the Technical and Cost Proposal shall be delivered in sealed, clearly <br />identified envelopes addressed to: <br />Paul W. Deichmann <br />City Engineer <br />City of North Olmsted <br />5200 Dover Center Road <br />North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 <br />Any Technical and Cost Proposal received by the City after 4:00 p.m., Wednesda.y, June 7, <br />2000 will be considered to be a nonresponsive proposal. All nonresponsive proposal will be <br />returned to the proposer by certified mail within five workin.g days following June 7, 2000. <br />Also, failure to attend the pre-proposal meeting will cause a proposer to be detennined to be <br />non-responsive even if a Technical and Cost Proposal received by the City before 4:00 p.m., <br />Wednesday, June 7, 2000. <br />If you have any questions regarding this request? please contact Dennis Long, the City's <br />Environmental Engineer, at 440-777-1881. <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Ra1ph H.
