Project Personnef 5-74
sampling protocol, field procedures, sample preparation, and a laboratory quality assurance
project plan.
Assisted in the site selection and evaluation of 160 flow monitors and rain gages used within the
sewer system service area, including sanitary sewers, streams, sewer overflows, and at the
treatment plant headworks. Used monitors to provide information for hydraulic modeling, base
flow calculation, overflow estimation, and estimates of rainfall-derived infiltration/inflow.
Delineated drainage basins within the sewer service area to determine rainfall runoff, population
density, and acreage tributary to a particular sewer service basin. Used information to estimate
base flow and inflow for hydraulic modeling.
Helped implement an information management system for a municipal sewer and drainage
maintenance department to manage sewer assets, work orders, and inventory.
