<br />Ordinance No. 99-77 <br />Page 3 <br />Once a plan has been approved and implemented, no owner or occuparn of property sha11 <br />modify the plan without first submitting to the Building Official modification plans and obtaining <br />the approval of the City to such proposed modification. <br />1161.12 II.LUMINATION OF PARKING AREAS. T6e provisions of t6is Section shall apply to <br />all commercial, industrial and multi-family properties Iocated within the City of Nort6 <br />Olmsted. <br />(a) Definitions. As used 'w this Section, and in C6apter 556 of the General Offenses <br />Code, the following terms shafl have the following meanings: <br />•"Average foot-candle" means the level of light measured at an average point of <br />illumination between the brightest and darkest areas. The measurement can be made <br />at the groand surface or at three to four feet above the ground. <br />•"Bulb" means the source of electric light, to be distinguished from the whole assembly <br />(see "laminaire"). <br />•"Commercial property" means any real property in the City t6at is zoned for other <br />than egclusive residential or industrial use. <br />?"Eighty-five (85) degree full cut-off type fixtures" means #igtures that do not allow light <br />to escape above an eighty-five (85) degree angle measured from a vertical line from the <br />center of the lamp eatended to the ground. <br />•"Eighty (SO) degree full cut-off type fixture" means figtures t6at do not allow light to <br />escape above an eighty (80) degree angle measured from a vertical line from the center <br />of the lamp extended to the ground. <br />•"Seventy (70) degree full cut-off type riature" means fiatures that do not allow light to <br />escape above an seventy (70) degree angle measured from a vertical line from the center <br />of the lamp extended to the ground. <br />•"Ezterior lighting" means temporary or permanent lig6ting t6at is installed, located or <br />used in such a manner to cause light rays to shine outside. Fixtures that are installed <br />indoors that are intended to light something outside are considered ezterior lighting for <br />the intent of this Chapter. <br />
