Senioritv: A position detercnined by continuous service in the <br /> North Olmsted Fire Departmern from the date of <br /> employment. Continuous service shall be broken <br /> only in resignation, discharge, retirement or leave of <br /> absence for personal reasons. Employees with the <br /> same employment date shall be assigned seniority in <br /> the ordex of their ranking on the Civil Service <br /> eIigibility tist. <br />Shift Captain: The individual designated as such or his designee. <br />State Emplovment Relations Board: The State Employment Relations Board of the State <br /> of Ohio. <br />Treastuer: The individual occupying the position of Treasurer of <br /> the Association from tune to time. <br /> <br />ARTICLE II <br />RECUGNITION <br />T1ie employer hereby recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining unit with respect to <br />Nvages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for all full-time Employees in the Fire <br />Department who are members of the Association or are represented by the Association. All other <br />Emplovees of the City of North Olmsted are excluded from the bargaining unit. <br />ARTICLE III <br />MANAGEMENT'S RIGHTS <br />;.1 All matters pertaining to wages, hours, or terms and other condidons of employment and the <br />continuation, modification, or deletion of an existing pravision of a collective bargaining <br />ageement are subject to collective bargaimng between the public Employer and the exclusive <br />representative, except as othenvise specified <br />5 <br />
