Employee to lose his selection and any bumping rights for that portion of the <br />selection procedure. <br />5. Emplo_vees may choose up to two (2) weeks vacation time in the first and second <br />round of vacation selection. <br />6. Vacation selections shall be made in whole weeks, which may include a Kellev <br />Day eYCept as in 13.8C(2). <br />7. An Employee may elect to pass on his selection in any round. In doing so, he <br />forfeits selection order and bumping rights for that round <br />B. First and second round selectian: <br />1. First round selection shall begin on November 1 of each year. <br />2. Second round selection shall begn unmediately upon eomplerion of the first <br />round. <br />C. Third round selections: <br />1. Third round selections shall begin immediately following the comp2etion of the <br />second round of selections as in 13.8A(1) through (4). <br />2. During the third round of selections individnal days may be selected in :uiy <br />order and number up to the limit on the boaks for the current year. <br />3. Employees may select usage of accumulated vacation after all his current <br />vacation time has been selected with the approval of the Fire Chief or lus <br />designee. <br />4. An Employee who selects usage of accumulated vaeafion in accordance -,«th <br />13.8C(3) sliall lose lus right to cancel any vacation in that calendar year. <br />119 In the event that an Employee is off duty due to on-duty injur_y, or illness of more than fcve (5) <br />shifts, he shall be pennitted to cancel any vacadon previously scheduled during that tune. <br />19 <br />
