ARTICLE XXIIi <br />ASSOCIATION BUSINE55 AND MEETIlNG5 <br />23.1 Not more than five (5) members of the Associatian either elected or appointed by the Association <br />for die purpose of negotiating with the Emplayer shall be allowed tirne off for all meetings with <br />the Employer which shall be mutually set by the Employer and the Association, provided the <br />Association members remaui in service. <br />21.2 The Employer agees that the Association shall be permitted to hold meetings at the Fire House as <br />long as the meetings do not interfere with the regular activities of the Fire Department. <br />Additionally, all Association members shall be allowed to ariend all Association meetings <br />pro?rided the Association members remain in service and receive approval of the Fire Chief. <br />23.3 Szzch meetings must be approved in advance by the Fire Chief and are limited to members of the <br />Association. unless ocherwise approved by the Fire Chief. <br />23.4 For the purpose of Association business, the Employer shatl acknowiedge a Comp Time Bank into <br />which members of the Association contribute hours. <br />ARTICLE XXIV <br />HOURS OF WORK <br />24.1 Beginning January 1, 1993, tlte basic work week for Employees assigned to platoon duty shall be <br />an average of 51.7 hours. <br />24.2 Employees assigned to Fire Prevention duty shall work a foriy hour week <br />24.3 Twenty-four hour shifts shaIl commence at 0800 hours in accordance with the Normal Work <br />Schedtile. <br />24.4 In order to facilitate the wark week of 51J hours effective January l, 1993, Employees shall be <br />entitled to additional time off with pay, lnown as Kelley Days.
