C. Notify the State Employnient Relations Board of the offer by serving upon the board a copy <br />of the written notice to the otlier party and a copy of the existing collective bargaining <br />agreement. <br />D. Upon receipt of die notice, the parties shall enter irno collective barpining. <br />E. In the event the parties are unable to reach an agreement, the impasse procedure as set forth <br />in Section 4117.140.R.C. shall prevail. <br />31.4 The parties shall continue in full force and eff?ect all the terms and conditions of the existing <br />coltective bargaining agreement for a periad af six-ty days after the perty= gives notice or until the <br />expiratiou date of the collective bargaining agreement, wluchever is later. <br />ARTICLE XXXII . <br />BEREAVEMENT LEAVE <br />32.1 In the event of deadi of Immediate Family other than the Employee's spouse or children, die <br />Emplovee shall receive two (2) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour shifts off. <br />32.2 In die event of death of an Employee's spouse or children, the Employer shall provide a total of <br />ninetv-six (96) hours of compassionate leave. <br />32.3 For the purpose of this Article, Immediate Family is defined to mean: <br />Parents of the Employee; <br />Parents of the Emplovee's spouse; <br />Brotliers and Sisters of the Employee; <br />Step Parenis of the Employee; <br />Spouse and Children vf the Employee; <br />Relatives living Ntiith the Employee if the Employee is acting as a parent andlor legal guardian; and <br />Grandchildren of the Employee. <br /> <br />36
