<br />Resolution No. 2003-112 <br />Page 2 <br />SECTION Z: That the Director of Finance be, and she hereby is, authorized and directed <br />to pay to the FOP, Ohio Labor Council, Inc. the sum of One Thousand One Hundred and Six <br />Dollars and Forty Cents ($1, 106.40) for distribution to or in the name of the Grievant, a former <br />Correction Officer of the NOPD, as identified in settlement letter between the City and the FOP, a <br />copy of which is attached, and in consideration of the settlement and withdrawal of the grievance <br />from arbitration as identified therein. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfaze, and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately so that, after adoption, the <br />withdrawal of the Grievance from Arbitration is ratified by Council and rendered final, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor <br />PASSED: <br />First Reading: f1 3? 0 3 <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: u-a. <br />ATTEST.? <br />'BARBARA L.
