c. Key personnel to perform services shall be listed in the proposal. d. The Consultant shall indemnify and hold the City harmless from all losses and damages resulting from the Consultant's failure to meet the standard of care for services at the level customary for competent and prudent engineers performing such services. The Consultant shall be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, timely completion and coordination of all services. e. The scope of services may be amended by mutual agreement. f. If a dispute arises between the Consultant and the City regarding the contract for services, the City and the Consultant shall negotiate in an attempt to resolve the dispute. Should negotiations be unsuccessful, a mutually acceptable third party may be engaged to mediate the dispute, with expenses equally shazed between the City and the Consultant. 2. Stirveying Services: a. Research and procure all appropriate records and perform all field surveys to establish the horizontal and vertical control and alignment for the proposed improvements. b. Obtain all pertinent information regarding the present conditions at the site with respect to existing installation or other conditions relevant to the design. 3. Prg-Deign Services: a. Coordination of owner-supplied data, including Engineering Department requirements. b. Presentation to the City of preliminary budget and schedule for review. 4. Drafting Services: a. Prepare plan and detail sheets at appropriate scales on 24" x 36" sheets. All survey points are to be included on the drawing. Show all storm and sanitary utilities in plan and profile. b. All lettering on the plan and detail sheets is to be done with drafting standards acceptable to the City. c. All final plans will be reviewed by the City. Submit two (2) interim copies of the plan sheets for review.
