? <br />Mr. Saini was actively involved in the development of geometric, profiles and super <br />elevations for interchanges at Alger and West 159th Street and West 140th Street and main <br />line from West 160th Street to Berea Road. Responsibility also included relocation of <br />Warren Road and widening of West 140th Street in the Cities of Cleveland and Lakewood. <br />The other design elements included 20 scale pavement plans, intersection details, cross <br />sections, earthwork and roadway quantities were computed with the use of in-house <br />computer programs. At 44th and 41st Street interchange, he participated in the <br />geometric design of four ramp inter-sections with the cross streets. <br />Project Manager: Danville Expressway (Route 265) in Danville, Virginia for the <br />Virginia Department of Transportation. Mr. Saini was actively involved in the design <br />of major elements of this new rural and urban 4-lane limited access Route 265, <br />approximately 9-miles long, connecting U.S. Route 58 to U.S. Route 29 (east of the City <br />of Danville) in Pittsylvania County. The responsibility included grading of two <br />interchanges and drainage design of cross-culverts, median and side ditches, interchange <br />drainage, storm sewer design at relocated crossroads in urban area, determination of <br />waterway openings at major structures, erosion control, retention basins and <br />recommended treatment for wetlands. <br />Mr. Saini has extensive design experience on city streets, urban and rural state and county <br />highways in Ohio and several other states. The work included design of horizontal and vertical <br />alignments, development of typical sections, plan and profiles, drainage, utility re-locations, <br />water main design, sidewalks and driveways, intersection design, specifications and cost <br />estimates. <br />PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION: <br />1971, Civil Engineering <br />13
