Section 3. The City will provide and maintain safe vehicles for all employees <br />required to use vehicles for their assigned duties. The vehicle status, whether safe or <br />unsafe, will be determined by the Service Director or his designee. <br />Section 4. Employees shall be required to keep the interior of vehicles clean and <br />clear of objects such as: tools, lunch wrappers, cans, and bottles. Debris such as: <br />lunch wrappers, cans and bottles shall be removed and properly disposed of by the end <br />of each shift. <br />Section 5. Employees involved in an accident involving a City vehicle, <br />equipment or other property shall notify their supervisor as soon as possible. The <br />employee shall complete a police report and all other report forms required by the <br />employer. <br />Section 6. There shall be a Labor Management Committee established, <br />consisting of three (3) persons from the union and three (3) persons from management. <br />Meetings will be held qua?terly or as needed by mutual agreement of the parties to <br />promote a drug free workplace and/or other subjects of mutual interest to the parties. <br />Meetings shall be held during the last thirty (30) minutes of the shift. <br />ARTICLE 28 - DISABLED EMPLOYEE <br />Section 1. The City and the Union shall attempt through agreement to place <br />partially disabled employees on fight-work jobs which are available or become available <br />during the term of their disability, and which they are qualified to perform. <br />Section 2. The City will require that any employee who is disabled off the job, <br />and is absent from work (sick time or leave of absence) for a period in excess of 3 days <br />will be required to submit a City furnished Return to \Nork Form. An employee injured <br />on the job, shall provide a City furnished Return to Work Form, prior to returning to work. <br />34 <br />
