employee be assigned duties and function as a"acting foreman" in excess of thirty <br />consecutive working days unless the assignment is a result of the following conditions: <br />(a) To fill a vacancy caused by sickness, injury or other management <br />approved absences of a foreman. <br />(b) To provide vacation relief for a foreman. <br />(c) To accommodate the presence of seasonal, casual and part-time <br />employees. <br />All employee's that are assigned by management to perform as a"Acting <br />Foreman" maybe required to perform all the job duties of his classification in addition to <br />the duties required of an "acting Foreman" during this period of time. <br />ARTICLE 37 - WORK BY SUPERVISORS <br />Section 1. Supervisors will not perform bargaining unit work to the extent that <br />results in lay-off, a reduction in work force or reduction of hours of work by bargaining <br />unit employees. Except for emergencies, a supervisar will not perform bargaining unit <br />tasks outside of the Supervisor's normal working hours to deny overtime opportunities to <br />bargaining unit personnel. <br />ARTICLE 38 - CHIPPER AND BRUSH ROTATION <br />Section 1. Assignment to the chipper and brush truck will be rotated weekly <br />among the available, qualified personnel in the Forest Crew. A list showing such <br />rotation assignments shall be maintained and will be available for inspection by <br />employees. <br />ARTICLE 39 - JOB DESCRIPTIONS <br />Section 1. The job descriptions attached hereto and marked Exhibits "B" through <br />"13-14 (b)", effective July 1, 1995 and shall become a part of this Agreement. <br /> <br />40 <br />
