ARTICLE 40 - BOOT ALLOWANCE/TOOL ALLOWANCE & INSURANCE Section 1. All bargaining unit empioyees shall receive a boot allowance in the amount listed below each year of this agreement. 1995 - One - hundred seventy-five ($175.00) dollars. 1996 - Two - hundred doliars ($200.00) dollars. 1997 - Two - hundred dollars ($200.00) dollars. The aforementioned boot allowance amounts shall be paid during the first pay period after July 1 st each year of this agreement. The allowance for the 1995, boot allowance shall be paid during the first pay period following the execution ofi this agreement. Section 2. All mechanics shall receive a tool allowance in the amount listed below each year of this agreement. 1995 - One - hundred fifty ($150.00) dollars. 1996 - Two - hundred dollars ($200.00) dollars. 1997 - Two - hundred dollars ($200.00) dollars. The aforementioned tool allowance shall be paid at the same time as the boot ailowance cited in Section 1, above. Section 3. The employer shall pay the cosi to fully insure the tools of all Mechanic's and Mechanic Helper's and at the Waste Water Treatment Plant, tools owned by all Maintenance Mechanic's. The City shall only be obligated to implement the provisions of this Section upon receipt of the following required information within ninety (90) days following the execution of this agreement: 1. Video footage shovving all tools ef each eligible employee; 2. Detailed inventory describing each tool; 001. 3.
