procedure of this paragraph shall be reinstated until a recommendation is accepted or an <br />agreement is reached. The City shall not arbitrarily or capriciously reclassify employees or <br />change job descriptions during the life of this Agreement. <br />ARTICLE 19: HOSPITALIZATION <br />Section 1. The City shall provide either individual or Family medical insurance coverage <br />at the employees option for each full-time employee. The employer shall have the option of <br />seeking alternate health insurance providers or plans and will attempt to offer at least two (2) <br />different plans. Basic hospitalization will be consistent with and similar to those plans offered on <br />July 1, 1994. Basic hospitalization will be that offered to a11 other employees of the city of North <br />Olmsted. The employer has the right to negotiate co-payment and prescription drug rates with <br />providers to lower the cost to the employer as well as the employee contribution. <br />Section 2. Effective July 1, 1995, through December 31, 1995, full-time employee(s) <br />participating within either an individual or family plan shall contribute an amount equal to five <br />(5%) percent of the plan premium or expected cost of such medical plan and the employer shall <br />contribute ninety-five (95%) percent of such cost. The employee contribution shall be withheld <br />via payroll deduction not later than the first pay period each month. <br />Effective January 1, 1996 and through the duration this agreement, full-time employee(s) <br />participating within either an individual or family plan shalt contribute an amount equal to eight <br />(8%) percent of the plan premium or expected cost of such medical plan and the employer shall <br />contribute ninety-two (92%) percent of such cost. The employee contribution shall be withheld <br />via payroll deduction not later than the first pay period each month. <br />Section 3. Expected cost or premium is defined as the cost of all medical, hospital, <br />prescription drug and related fees including but not limited to administration fees. <br />Section 4. The employer reserves the right to establish a11 plans, enrollment periods <br />and regulations. <br />27 <br />
