Section 5. The employer shall make an earnest effort to establish a committee <br />consisting of one (1) representative from each of the City bargaining units, if they chose to be <br />represented and a minimum of one (1) representative of the employer. The bargaining units role <br />as a participant in the aforementioned committee shall be advisory only. <br />Section 6. All changes affecting the plan coverage's co-payments, deductibles, <br />providers enrollment periods and regulations will be shared with the bargaining unit prior to <br />making such changes. <br />Section 7. It is further agreed that if any bargaining unit employed by the City of North <br />Ofmsted, in negotiations held subsequent to this Agreement and for the same time period <br />covered under this Agreement, negotiates to conclusion a lower percentage of employee <br />contribution to the Health Insurance Plan, that lower percentage shall apply to the unit covered <br />under this Agreement. Said lower percentage shall commence under this Agreement at the <br />time that it is agreed upon by another unit, and shall continue for the remaining years covered <br />under this Agreement. <br />ARTICLE 20 - JURY WITNESS PAY AND COURT PAY <br />Section 1. An employee called for jury duty shall be granted a leave of absence for the <br />period of jury service and will be compensated at full pay for absences necessarily caused by <br />the jury duty. An employee who is required to be absent from scheduled work to serve as a <br />witness called by a party in litigation will be paid for time lost from scheduled straight time work. <br />An employee who is called as a witness due to his part-time employment in the area of public or <br />private law enforcement shall not receive witness pay from the City. <br />Section 2. Court pay: Police Secretaries who are required to appear in court for the <br />City during their non-work hours shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours' pay. <br /> <br />28 <br />
