Effective Juty 1, 1997 through the duration of this agreement: <br />4% after employee compietes five (5) years, <br />5°/o after employee completes ten (10) years, <br />6% after empioyee completes fifteen (15) years, <br />7% after empioyee completes twenty (20) years. <br />Section 2. All full-time employees hired after January 1, 1987 shall receive longevity <br />pay as additional compensation to their annual salary as follows: <br />$275 after employee completes five (5) years; <br />$550 after employee completes ten (10) years; <br />$775 after employee completes #ifteen (15) years; <br />$1,000 after employee completes twenty (20) years. <br />ARTlCLE 28 - AFSCME CARE PLAN <br />Section 1. The City shall continue to participate in the American Federation of State, <br />County and Municipal Employees Care Plan, for all full-time employees in the bargaining unit <br />represented by the Union. The City's obligation shall be limited to making contributions at the <br />rate of thirty-six dollars and seventy-five cents ($36.75) per month per employee for each <br />regular fu11-time employee. <br />Section 2. The City shall contribute an additional five dollars ($S.QD) per employee per <br />month for AFSCME Legal Pian coverage for each regular full-time employee. <br />ARTICLE 29 - WAGES <br />Section 1. Alf clerical and technical employees within the bargaining unit shall receive <br />wage increases in accordance with Appendix A. <br />Section 2. The City shall compute overtime separately from straight time and shall show <br />the overtime and straight time separately on the employee's pay stub. Additionally, the City <br />shaU compute, and show on the employee's pay stub, the accrued sick leave and vacation time. <br />Paychecks wi11 normally be available an Friday at Noon for employees who are not scheduled to <br />work Friday or have completed their work at that time, and a# the end of the day shift for other <br />33 <br />
