employees. Paychecks for employees of the Police Department and Recreation Department <br />ending their scheduled week at 8:30 a.m. on Friday wiN be available at 8:30 a.m. <br />Section 3. In the event of a shortage of an empioyee paycheck that exceeds $25.00, <br />such shortage shall be paid within forty-eight (48) working hours after notification of shortage is <br />made to the supervisor. <br />ARTICLE 30 - PREMIUM PAY <br />Section 1. Effective July 1, 1995, employees assigned to work in the Police Department <br />and or the Recreation Complex Maintenance Personnel on a regular night shift, and those <br />employees while assigned a rotating night shift, shall be paid an additional forty-five cents (.45) <br />per hour for all hours worked on a night shift. <br />Section 2. Effective July 1, 1996 through the duration of this agreement, emplayees <br />assigned to work in the Police Department and/or the Recreation Complex Maintenance <br />Personnel on a regular night shift, and those employees while assigned a rotating night shift, <br />shall be paid an additional fifty cents (50) per hour for all hours worked on a night shift. <br />ARTICLE 31 - WORK BY SUPERVlSORS <br />Section 1. Supervisors will not perform bargaining unit work to the extent that results in <br />lay-off, a reduction in work force, or reduction of hours of work by bargaining unit employees. <br />Except for emergencies, a supervisor will not perform bargaining unit tasks outside of the <br />supervisor's normal working hours to deny overtime opportunities to bargaining unit personnel. <br />ARTICLE 32 - JOB DESCRIPTIONS <br />Section 1. The job description attached hereto and marked Appendix B-1 through B-17 <br />effective January 1, 1987, shall become part of this Agreement. <br />ARTICLE 33 - FUNERAL LEAVE <br />Section 1. A full-time employee shall be granted a three (3) day ieave of absence with <br />pay, in the event of the death of an immediate family member. <br />34 <br />
