T1=1 ^1 7 - 75 11 31,13 P. 1t=1 <br />bargairiing meetings wxth the Employer, if held durzng a member's <br />regular workinc} haurs without loss of pay. <br />SECTION 3: Director(s) of the OPBA shall be allowed three (3) <br />hours pex month off, with pay, for the purpose of attending OPB.A <br />Directors meetings. The Employer must natify the Ghief of Police <br />or hzs designee at least Eorty--eight (48) hours in advance of <br />such meeting or forfezt their xight of pay for such meeting, that <br />any shift wx7.l not be under-manned due to the call of such a <br />meeting. <br />ARTICLE 9: <br />DIBCIPLINARX PROCEDURE <br />SECTION l: Disciplinary action taken by the Employex shall <br />only be for just cause. <br />Sectian 2: .A. non-probationary eznployee who is suspended, <br />demoted, or discharged shall be given written notice regardznq <br />the reasans(s) for the dxsciplinary action. The employee shall <br />be i»formed of the right to confer with a representative of the <br />OPBA. <br />SEGxZON 3: priar to any discipline being xmposed, the <br />employee shall be given the opportunitX to appeal through Step 3 <br />of the grieva,nce proceduxe cantained in Artxcle 10 af this <br />agreement. The employee shail then be able ta appeal the Step 3 <br />decision to arbitx-ation, as set forth in Article 10 of thi.s <br />agreement. <br />ARTIGLE 10: <br />GRIEVANCE PROGEbURE <br />SECTION 1: Grievant - The "grievant" sha31 be defined as any <br />employep-, group of employees withxn the bargaining unit or the <br />OPBA. <br />Party in Interest - A"party in interest" shall be <br />def ined as ar?y employee of the Employer named in the grievance <br />who is nat the grievant. <br />Days - A"day" as used in this procedure shall <br />mean Calendar days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays or Halidays as <br />provided for xn this Agreement. <br />SECTION 2: A grievance is an unresolved question or dXSpute <br />regarding wages, houxs, terms and conditions of emplayment of the <br />bargaining unit emplflyeos, and anX a1leged failure of the <br />Exa.p].oyer to camply wi.th-all applicable law affecting the <br />t?- bargai.nxng unit employee, incYuding, but not limxted to <br />7 <br />_ _. ,
