TO 77?5821::( P. 2=; <br />private law enforcement shall not receive witness paX f xom the <br />City. <br />An eznployee shazl be paid a minimum of twa (2) haurs for <br />appearance at the Roaky River Municipal Court and a minimum of <br />fvur (4) hours far appearance at the Grand Jury ar Comznons Pleas <br />Court when the sazue are requixed, and are alsa at a time other <br />than the employee's regulax work tour. The compensatzan for the <br />aforesaid hours wili be at time and one--half (1 1/2). <br />SEGTION 5: An empZayee who is ordered or called out to report <br />in person far duty within one and one-hal.f hours of completion of <br />a norma].ly scheduled shift shall have the time between the end of <br />the shift and the start of such duty counted as time warked <br />toward the minimuM establisried overtime pay, not tv include court <br />t1.111E . <br />SECTION 6: Any member of the bargainznq unit wha is ardered <br />to duty but subsequently xeleased priox to reporting shall <br />receive pay for one hour, at the appropriate rate. <br />SECTION ?: The Employer shall endeavor, insotar as it may be <br />pxacticable, to make a generally equitable distribution ot <br />avertime work among employees within a classification and <br />department who are capable of perforzning the avai].ab1e work <br />satisfactorxZy. Employees who are offered overtime and far any <br />reason refuse or fail tio wQrk, sha11 be credited with tihe <br />overtime as if they had wQrked, for the purpose of overtime <br />distributian. In the event thati a sufficxent number of employees <br />are not available wzthin the classifications far the avextime <br />assignment, qualified empioyees f'rom a different c3.assification <br />and/ox depaxtment shall be offEred the overtime work and the <br />overtime appdrtunity shaZl be distributed as equitably as <br />possible. <br />SECTZON S: Fdr tha purpose vf Section 7, it shall not be <br />deemed practxcable to dXStribute an overtime opportunity in <br />strict accordance with the overtime lists whexe: (1) the <br />Enployex, in good faith, estimates that the opportunity cansi.sts <br />of no maxe than one (1) hour of avertime work per man required, <br />or (2) tYae apportunity arises during an emergency. <br />In distributing overtime opportunities, the Employer ox its <br />representative shall not engage in a po3.icy ;favoring an employee <br />or employees, unZess thzs Agreement requi.reci certain empl.ayees to <br />work the overtime. <br />15
