Employees shal.l be required to take, <br />or x'equest to be paid, for such accumuXated vacation leave credit <br />witlai.n one (1) year fx-om the date the employee requested <br />accumulation of such vacatian leave credit. An employee shali <br />farfeit hxs righ;t ta take or be paid For any vacatian leave to <br />his areda.t which is in excess of the acoumu3ated vacation credit <br />far one {l} pri.ar yeax. A1l such excess vacation leave credit <br />shall be elimixaated fxom the emplayee's vacation leave balance. <br />SECTION 3: Al1 vaaatian time sha12 be paid at the regular <br />wage rate, except when the employee requests vacatxon credit <br />accuneuZatxon. For the purpose of calculating vacation pay, when <br />vacation accumulatzon is requested by an etnployee, the wage rate <br />at the time tihe vacation was requested to be aGCUmulated shall be <br />17 <br />
