TO 117775,839 P.01 <br />SEcTION 2: A) Al1 unsafe working conditzans must be xeported by <br />the employee in writing ta the employee's iYnmediate <br />supervisor in charge within twenty-four (24) haurs <br />of the time such unsafe working conditions become <br />apparent. <br />B} The Employer will investigate all written reparts <br />of unsafe working conditions and with twenty-four <br />(24) hours begin to correct atty which are found. <br />The Employer shall be responsible far insuring that <br />all safety rules and safe working methods are <br />followed by the employees. <br />C) The Employez will notify the employee who alleges <br />unsafe working conditions, an writing, of any <br />correctxons whiah have been made. <br />SECTIaN 3: The Employer shall adopt a safety prograin regarding <br />equipment, working conditions, and employee safety in axder to insure <br />the safetX af all employees. <br />ARTICLE 26: <br />SCHOOLING <br />sECTION 1: Full-time employees in attendance at an Employer <br />approved training school shall be compensated at the appxapriate rate <br />for travel time from the Employers premises ta the lacatian af the <br />training schoal and all time spent in the alass session unless total <br />hours in the gxven week are over forty (40). The employee attending <br />such approved trainxnq school auti of the City, shall be reimbursed for <br />lunch in an amount not to exceed $4.00 per day by the Employex, upon <br />presentgtion of a receipt far suGh lunch. The employee attending such <br />txaxnxng schaol shaZ2 be paid mileage expense for the use of his <br />personal vehicle in accordance with the IRS approved rate or he may be <br />provided a vehicle owned by the EmplaXer. <br />SECTION 2: Whenever an employee xequxres training in dispatch, the <br />deszgnated trainxng dispatchex wzZl xeceive and additional two-hundxe3 <br />fifty dollars ($250.00) per yeaz. A minimum of twa (2) empioyees will <br />be designated as training dispatchers. These designated training <br />dispatchers shall only be compensated for any year for whxch they were <br />actuallX desxqnatied txaaning dxspatchers and training is required. The <br />aforementioned paXznent shaZl be made during the first pay period oE <br />January, each year of this Agreement £or pzeviaus year service as a <br />designated training dispatcher. Payment will be made by separate aheck <br />pravzding any other bargaining unit of the City receives similar <br />payment by sepazate check. <br />?
