days from the date that said employee has exhausted his accumulated sick leave. During said <br />ninety (90) day period, said employee, in order to maintain any and all benefits which are paid by <br />the City shall be required to pay the Finance Director, the cost of said benefits in advance on a <br />monthly basis. <br />Section 19.03. After the leave of absence specified in Section 19.01 and 19.02 has terminated, <br />the employee shall report to the General Manager for work. If the employee fails to do so, the <br />employee shal( be terminated. This section shal( not affect the application of Worker's <br />Compensation statute. <br />Section 19.04. A full-time employee shall be granted time off with pay (not to be deducted <br />from the employee's sick leave) for the purpose of attending the funeral of a member of the <br />employee's family. Each full-time employee shall be entitled to three (3) work days off, if <br />necessary, for attending local funeral services of inembers of his immediate family, or up to five <br />(5) work days off, if necessary, for the out-of-state funeral of a member of the immediate family. <br />Immediate family, for purposes of this section is defined as spouse, son, daughter, brother, sister, <br />parent or grandparent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, step-father, <br />step-mother, step-sister, step-brother, step-son, and stepdaughter. The Employer reserves the <br />right to request proof or certification from the employee prior to payment of the days off as <br />described in this section. <br />ARTICLE XX <br />JURY DUTY <br />Section 20A1. Any employee who is called for jury duty, on an assigned work day, either for <br />Federal, County or Municipal, shall be paid his regular rate. Time spent on jury duty shall be <br />included when calculating the amount of completed service of an employee. Jury duty will not be <br />computed into overtime. <br />Section 20.02. Employee's will sign over to the Employer all compensation received for said <br />jury duty, which covers scheduled work days, prior to receiving credit or payment in accordance <br />with Section 20.01. <br />ARTICLE XXI <br />MILITARY TRAINING DUTY PAY <br />Section 21.01. While on leave of absence from their respective duties with the City because of <br />field training or active duty or military engagement in the military service, employees who are <br />members of the Ohio National Guard, Ohio State Naval Militia or members of other reserve <br />components of the Armed Forces of the United States shall be entitled to Military Training Duty <br />Pay. <br />Section 21.02. Military Training Duty pay shall consist of the difference between the employee's <br />City pay and his military salary for the leave of absence period. The above-described employees <br />shall be entitled to such pay if their military salary during the leave of absence period is less than <br />their City pay would have been for such period. In determining an employee's military pay, <br />allowance for travel, food or housing shall not be considered, but other compensation or allowance of <br />whatever nature, including longevity pay, shall be considered. <br />16 <br />..n.$w . . ,.
