Section 21.03. An employee wishing to claim Military Training Duty Pay shall submit a copy <br />of his active duty orders along with a statement of his military salary on a form to be provided by <br />the military office of Finance. Such employee shall be placed on official leave with pay pending <br />receipt of his statement of military salary as a basis for computation of his Military Training Duty <br />Pay for the period of his leave of absence. Adjustments to pay shall be made in the pay period <br />following the employee's submittal of all above required documents. Military training Duty Pay <br />shall be paid for a maximum of thirty-one (31) calendar days annually. <br />ARTICLE XXII <br />IJNIFORMS AND ALLOWANCES <br />Section 22.01. Bus Operator Clothing/Cleaning Allowance: <br />Effective January, 1995, the Employer will pay $465.00 annually. <br />Effective January, 1996, the Employer will pay $475.00 annually. <br />Effective January, 1997, the Employer will pay $485.00 annually. <br />This payment to full-time bus operators and dispatchers will be paid one-half (1/2) in the month <br />of January and one-half (1/2) in the month of July. Employees receiving a clothing/cleaning <br />allowance will be subject to the uniform dress code regulations published by the Employer. <br />Section 22.02. Effective January 1, 1995, the Employer shall furnish a clean uniform to <br />full-time mechanics, material handlers, equipment servicers, and hostlers an the basis of four (4) <br />times per work week. <br />Section 22.03. Mechanics and Equipment Servicers Allowance: . <br />Effective June, 1995, the Employer will pay $360.00 annually. <br />Effective June, 1996, the Employer will pay $380.00 annually. <br />Effective June, 1997, the Employer will pay $400.00 annually. <br />Mechanics and full-time equipment servicers shall receive an allowance for the purchase of <br />tools and safety shoes (per O.S.H.A. standards). Employees covered by this section shall .be <br />required to wear such safety shoes while working. Failure to wear such safety shoes shall <br />subject the employee to disciplinary action by the employer. <br />Section 22.04. Hostlers and Material IIandlers Allowance: <br />Effective January, 1995, the Employer will pay $180.00 annually. <br />Effective January, 1996, the Employer will pay $190.00 annually. <br />Effective January, 1997, the Employer will pay $200.00 annually. <br />Full-time hostlers and material handlers shall receive an allowance for the purchase of <br />safety shoes (per O.S.H.A. standards). Employees covered by this section shall be required to <br />wear such safety shoes while working. Failure to wear such safety shoes shall subject the <br />employee to disciplinary action by the employer. <br />ARTICLE XXIII <br />VACATION <br />Section 23.01. Vacation time is earned based upon time worked in the current year. It will <br />normally be taken on or after January 1 st of the following year. Employees must have completed <br />twelve (12) months of full-time employment prior to being eligible for any vacation time. <br />i7
