C <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 72-192 Page 2 <br />wiring or equipment, or to cause the same to be covere~ci, until the <br />Electrical Inspector shall have inspected and approved the wiring and <br />equipment, A11 basements shall be wired in (approved metal raceway) <br />unless ceiling is covered. On any installation, new work or remodeling, <br />where there is a fan or blower in an inside toiletroom or inside bathroom, <br />or inside laundry room, the duct work from the fan must be piped to the <br />outside before electrical inspection will be made of the premises. This <br />will also apply to the duct work in the kitchen for the stove hood fan. <br />Section 4. All multiple residence building, over 2 suites, shall be <br />wired in electrical metallic tubing or rigid metal conduit for all wiring <br />110-220 volts or more. All commercial and industrial buildings shall <br />be wired in electrical metallic tubing or rigid metal conduit for all <br />wiring 110-220 volts or more. <br />Section 5. That Article 210, entitled "Branch Circuits", Section 22, <br />entitled "Receptacle Outlets Required", Paragraph B is amended by adding the <br />following paragraph. <br />B . All toiletroom and bathroom shall have one wall receptacle <br />outlet installed adjacent to the basin location. <br />Article 210-Branch Circuits is further amended by adding <br />Sections 210-26 and 210-27 as follows: <br />210-26 WALL SWITCHES <br />At least one outlet controlled by a wall switch shall be <br />provided for each habitable room, kitchen, toiletroom and <br />bathroom. Alighting outlet shall be provided at laundry <br />trays, boilers, furnances and other central heating devices. <br />Three-way switches shall be provided for all stairways to <br />control lighting outlets illuminating such stairways. <br />2I0-27 OUTLETS REQUIRED <br />Number of outlets required on general lighting and small <br />appliance branch circuits of dwelling occupancies: <br />No more than four duplex receptacle outlets per circuit of <br />#12 wire A. W.G. shall be installed on the required appliance <br />branch circuits, and no more than ten duplex outlet per <br />circuit # 14 wire A. W. G, shall be installed on the required <br />General Lighting Branch Circuits. <br />Section 6. Article 215 Feeders, Section 215-2 Conductor Size no~~v reading <br />as follows: <br />215-2 C9NDUCTOR SIZE <br />"Feeder conductors shall have a current rating not smaller than <br />the feeder load as determined by Section 220 -4. A 2 -wire <br />feeder supplying two or more 2-wire branch circuits, or a <br />3-wire feeder supplying more than two ~-wire branch circuits, <br />or two or more 3-wire branch circuits, shall be not smaller <br />than No. 10. Where a feeder carries the total current supplied <br />by the service-entrance conductors, such feeder, for services <br />of No. 6 and smaller, shall be of the same size as the service- <br />entrance conductors." <br /><~,..~„rU,_ . ~ _. <br />
