<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 71-/lad <br />155.15 Council Approval of Capital Expenditures <br /> <br />PAGE 3 <br />.All capital expenditures shall be handled as any other capital <br />expenditures of the City and shall be authorized by official actixm of Council. <br />Such expenditures shall be reviewed by the appropriate departments and boards of <br />the City, with invoices furnished to the Director of Safety and Service. <br />155.16 Personnel and Compensation. <br />(a) Positions Created. There are hereby created the positions of <br />Recreation Director and Assistant Recreation Director. There are also hereby created <br />positions of recreation instructors as follows :nature study, pre-schooi, band director, <br />playground workers, baseball umpires, preschool music, bowling, handicraft and <br />square dance instructors. <br />(b) Compensation. <br />ail) The salary of the Recreation Director is hereby cffxed and determined <br />to be three thousand two hundred dollars ($3, 200.00) per year, payable monthly <br />retroactive to October 15, 1968. The salary of the Assistant Recreation Director is <br />hereby fixed and determined to be two thousand eight hundred dollars ($2, 800.00 ) <br />per year, payable monthly, retroactive to October 15, 1968. <br />(2) The compensation of each playground director is hereby fixed and <br />determined to be one hundred dollars ($100.00) per week, for a period not to exceed <br />eight weeks during the summer months, which period shall be determined by the <br />Recreation Commission. <br />(3) The compensation of assistant playground directors is hereby fi~;d <br />and determined to be ninety dollars ($90.00) per week, for a period not to exceed <br />eight weeks during the summer months, which period shall be determined by the <br />Recreation Board. <br />(4) The compensation of nature study instructors shall be forty dollars <br />( X40.00) per week, for a period not ex;eeding eight weeks . <br />(5) The compensation for junior curator, not to exceed five in member , <br />shall be thirty dollars ($30.00) per summer session. <br />(6) The pre-school instructor shall receive two hundred dollars <br />( $200.00) for the right week pre-school period. <br />( '7) The band director shall receive three hundred si~y dollars ($360.00 ) <br />per year, payable monthly. <br />(g) The compensation for each playground worker is hereby find and <br />determined to be fifty dollars ($50.00) der week, for a period not to exceed eight week: <br />(~) The compensation of each baseball umpire shall be six dollars ($b. 00 <br />per game. <br />( 10) The compensation of apre-school music teacher shall be seventy- <br />five dollars ($75.00) for a full eight week period. <br />( 11) The compensation of recreation instructors for gym classes, spring <br />baseball and the grade school football program shall be seven dollars ($7.00) per clasp <br />or session. <br />(12) <br />per session. <br />(13) <br />session. <br />The compensation of bowling teachers shall be seven dollars ($7.00 ) <br />Craft instructors (winter) shall receive ten dollars ($10.00) per <br />
