CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 71- ~~ ~ Page 2 w Section 140.02 License Required (C) The Private Police commission -shall be evidenced by an identification card which shall be issued to the original Applicant and upon each renewal thereof. Said identification card shall set forth among other things that the territoral limits of said Private Police commission are the municipal bc-undaries of the Gity of North Olmsted. Section 140.03 Rules and Reaulations Prescribed By The Director Of Public Safety The Director of Public Safety is hereby authorized to prescribed rules and regulations, and the uniform which shall be worn by such Privates Policemen and/or Private Policewomen whenever and wherever their services are conducted. Section 140.04 Bond Required Such Private Policemen and/or Private Policewomen shall furnish a bondissued by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Ohfo. The bond shall be in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1, 000.00) and shall be approved by the Director of Public Safety and the Director of Law. Section 140.05 Official Uniform Not To Be Copied ; Exceptions It shall be unlawful for any person not a member of the Police or Fire Department to wear .a uniform, cap, badge, or buttons similar to, or in imitation of the official uni- form ,cap, badge, or buttons at the time in use by the members of the Police and Fire Department of the City of North Olmsted. Section 140.06 Uniforms To Be Approved Any person, farm, or corporation desiring to provide special police, watchmen, or detective service, either for itself or for hire to others, s~i811 use no distinctive uniforms, cap, badge, or buttons to be worn by such person or any employee of such person, firm, or corpo- ration engaged for such purpose, until the form, design and color thereof shall have been first submitted to and approved by the Director of Public Safety, and a record thereof sufficient to identify the users thereof shall have been made by sand Director of Public Safety. Section 140.0 7 Uniform Identification The Director of Public Safety shall prescribe such uni- form, badge, cap, and/or ether distinquishing uniform marks for such Private Policemen and/or Policewomen, as he may see fit in order to distinquish such Private Police Officer from regular police officer of the Division of Police, Department of Public Safety, of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio.
