<br />- 11 - <br /> <br />the available work satisfactorily. Eatployees who are offered over- <br />time and for any reason refuse or fail to work shall be credited <br />with the overtime as if they had worked for the purpose of overtime <br />distribution. In the event that a sufficient number of employees <br />are not available within the classifications for the overtime <br />assignment, qualified employees tYom a different classification <br />and/or department shall be offered the overtime work and the over- <br />tame opportunity shall be distributed as equitably as possible. <br />The City shall maintain lists by classification showing the over- <br />time hours of each employee. All overtime hours shall be recorded <br />on a daily basis. The lists shall be made available for review <br />by the employees. <br />Leaves of Absence <br />31~. Military Leave: An employee shall be gram ed a leave of absence <br />for military duty under the terms and conditions provided in <br />applicable Federal Law. <br />35• Unpaid Sick Leave: A regular full time employee who has completed <br />his probationary period and who has exhausted his paid sick <br />leave shall be granted a leave of absence without pay for a <br />period not to exceed four (~+) months for a continuing disabil- <br />ity which is substantiated by credible medical evidence. If <br />the illness or disability continues beyond four (4) months, <br />additional sick leave may be granted by the City upon request. <br />The employee shall be required to submit proof acceptable to <br />the City of his ability to perform the work of his fob upon <br />the termination of the sick leave. Arty dispute as to the <br />ability of an employee to perform the work of the fob shall <br />be determined pursuant to the medical examination procedure <br />in Paragraph 38c. <br />.-~~~ <br />
