~+' <br />-16- <br />k8. An employee awarded a Job under Paragraph k5 will be given reason- <br />able help and supervision and shall be allowed a reasonable period <br />of time to qualify but not more than thirty (30) calendar days. <br />He will be considered to have qualified on the new Job when he <br />satisfactorily performs the required duties with no more supervision <br />than is required by other qualified employees on the same or similar <br />Jobs, and when his record as to quality and quantity of work meets <br />the standard applicable to the Job. If he fails to qualify, he <br />shall be returned to his Former Job. <br />~9. No employee shall be eligible for promotion under these provisions <br />until he has satisfactorily completed the required probationary <br />period. <br />Temporary Transfers <br />50. When an employee is temporarily transferred for one full day or <br />more to another classification, he shall receive whatever rate of <br />pay is higher, his regular rate or the appropriate rate of the Job <br />to which is he transferred as determined by his experience in that <br />Job. <br />Vacations <br />51. Regular full time employees shall be granted the following vacation <br />leave with full pay based upon continuous service as follows: <br />One (1) to seven (7) years - Two (2) weeks <br />More than seven (7} but less <br />than fifteen (15) years - Three (3) weeks <br />Fifteen (15) years or more - Four (k) weeks <br />52. An employee shall qualify for vacation leave on his anniversary <br />date and the vacation leave shall be taken by the employee within <br />the calendar year in which it is earned.
