<br />-19- <br />Safety and Health <br />~. <br />., <br />62. The City shall continue to make reasonable provisions for the safety <br />and health of its employees. <br />Disabled Employee <br />63. The City and the Union shall attempt through agreement to place <br />partially disabled employees on light work fobs which they can <br />perform. <br />No Strikes <br />64. Section 1. Neither the Union nor aqy employee or employees will <br />either instigate, promote, sponsor, engage or participate in, <br />or condone any strike. Any employee who participates in, ad- <br />vances, leads or promotes a strike shall be subject to disci- <br />plinary action up to and including discharge. <br />Section 2. In the event that any breach oP the no-strike clause <br />in Section 1 above occurs, the Union's officers sha11 publicly <br />declare that the strike is unauthorized, shall promptly make <br />reasonable, earnest efforts to bring about a prompt termina- <br />tion of the strike, and shall continue such efforts until the <br />employees return to ~aork. <br />Management Rights <br />65. Except as they are specifically restricted or limited by the ex- <br />press language of this Memorandum, the City shall retain all of its <br />rights, including, without limitation on the foregoing, the right <br />to manage and direct the work force, and to determine the manner <br />and method of performing the ~rork. <br />
