Barkhurst Warren W. Blakely Helen C, McCollough Clark W. Peck Donald B, Walters Also present were: Dr. Van Auken, Mr. Storch, Mr. Kraps, Mr. Closson and Minutes of the meeting held on October 22, 1973 approved as published. Mr. Barkhurst moved, Mr. Blakely seconded that: .... the Board of Education approve the following resolution: A RESOLUTION. AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE TRANS- FER OF LAND WHEREAS, the North Olmsted Board o~ Education has hereto fore indicated its desire to transfer land to the_Gity of North Olmsted for the use of the residents of the City of North Olmsted as joint recreation and playground areas; joint agreements dated 12 April 1965 and 20 September 1966); and WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted-now desires to make a commitment of $125,000to develop parks and recreation areas throughout the City and to apply to the Federal Government for matching funds equal to this commitment. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the North Olmsted Board of Education: Section l: The President is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the City of North Olmsted for the transfer of land from the North Olmsted Board of Educa- Lion to the City of North Olmsted for the establishment of joint recreation-playground areas and is further authorized to accept all deeds, easements and instru- ments of conveyance on behalf of the North Olmsted Board of Education and to do anything necessary to carry out the terms of the contract. Section 2: This Resolution shall .take effect and be in force on the date this Resolution is approved by the North Olmsted Board of Education. 298.
