PAGE 11 <br />the height ( H) is up to 50 feet F= 3.5 <br />the height ( H) is from 50.01 to 100 feet F= 2.5 <br />Buildings whose length ( L) is 250 feet or more and : <br />the height ( H) is up to 50 feet F= 2.5 <br />the height ( H) is from 50.1 feet F= 1.5 <br />When computing the setback formula for buildings of more <br />than one wing, all wings that are within fifteen ( 1 5) de- <br />grees of being perpendicular to the property line shall be <br />considered as a separate building for measurement purposes. <br />All attached wings that are not within fifteen ( 15 ) degrees <br />of the perpendicular to the property line shall be con- <br />sidered as one continuous building and the entire length <br />between perpendicular lines to the property line shall be <br />used for determining:the length requirements of the formula. <br />The required setback shall be measured from the wall <br />plane or point that is closest to the property line. <br />d. Minimum Distance Between Buildinas <br />The minimum distance between multifamily and office <br />buildings, or between opposite building walls of the <br />same building, shall vary according to length and height <br />of the buildings. Such minimum distance shall be de- <br />termined by the following formula : <br />D=LA+- LB+HA+HB <br />f <br />provided that, in no case shall the minimum distance <br />be less than twenty ( 20 ) feet. <br />The elements of the above formula shall be described as <br />follows: <br />D= the minimum required horizontal distance between any <br />wall of one building and another wall of that building <br />and/or wall of another building. <br />LA = the total lenqth of building " A , " which shall be the <br />length of the portion or portions of any wall or walls <br />of building " A" from which lines drawn perpendicular <br />will intersect any wall of building " B" or another <br />wall of building " A < " . <br />LB = the total length of building " B" or of another wall <br />of builciing " A" which shall be the length of the portion <br />or portions of any wall or walls of. building " B" or <br />another wall of building " A " , from which lines drawn <br />perpendicular will intersect any wall of building " A ", <br />HA = the height of building " A". <br />HB = the height of building " B" or of the other wall of <br />building " A ". <br />f= a factor which for a mixed multifamily district is 3.
