Parking areas having a <br />capacity of 10 or more automobiles shall provide <br />bumper guards or curbs around the parking areas <br />to prevent vehicles projecting into required yards <br />and to define parking areas. The Planning Com- <br />mission may require landscape features such as <br />compact hedge, informal shrubs, or screening by <br />a substantially solid fence between such parking <br />areas and a side or rear lot line of a residential <br />district. <br />The driveways, parking area pavement, curbs and <br />bumper guards shall be constructed in accord with <br />standards established by the Engineering Department <br />of the municipality. <br />Driveways for one and two-family dwellings to the <br />extent located within street lines shall be of such <br />character as may be required by rule of the Planning <br />Commission. " <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />1213.04 Improvements of Parking Areas <br />All parking areas and access driveways, except for one <br />and two-family dwellings, shall be constructed of con- <br />crete or asphalt pavement. Parking areas shall be graded <br />to provide drainage so that injury will not be caused to <br />adjacent properties nor will water drain across a public <br />sidewalk. Parking areas having a capacity of ten ( 10 ) <br />or more automobiles shall provide bumper guards or <br />curbs around the parking areas to prevent vehicles pro- <br />jecting into required yards and to define parking areas. <br />The Planning Commission may require landscape features, <br />such as compact hedge, informal shrubs,or screening by <br />a substantially solid fence between such parking areas <br />and a side or rear lot line of a residential district. <br />The driveways, parking area pavement, curbs and bumper <br />guards shall be constructed in accord with standards es- <br />tablished by the Engineering Department of the municipality. <br />Driveways for one and two-family dwelling to the extent <br />located within street lines shall be of such character as <br />may be required by rule of the Planning Commission. <br />A seven ( 7) foot wide area between the street right-of- <br />way line and the parking area shall be required, and this <br />seven ( 7) foot strip shall remain unpaved and shall be <br />landscaped and maintained in such a way so as to pre- <br />vent unchanneled motor vehicles ingress and egress.
